“Stupid and Uncalled For” CS Mbadi, MP Ndindi Clashes During a Heated Debate in N.A
Hon. John Mbadi, the National Treasury and Economic Planning CS, has slammed Kiharu Member of Parliament Hon. Ndindi Nyoro for claiming that Kenya’s debt status isn’t good at all.
Speaking when he attended a parliamentary session, as per the video seen by this writer on YouTube on Friday, April 18, John Mbadi didn’t mince his words when he reported it is indeed sickening that a section of leaders who feel bitter toward the Kenya Kwanza government have now resorted to misleading the public.
Mbadi categorically said Ndindi Nyoro’s remarks that the government has been faking numbers to create a perception that all is well were uncalled for and uncouth, coming from a ranking MP who was the chairman of the Budget and Appropriations Committee.
“Let me ask that we, as leaders people out there may like us, they may say all sorts of things but we are their leaders. I am just appealing that we need to be, sometimes, a little bit cautious.
“I listened to one of us (MP Ndindi Nyoro) argue that this country is likely to default on its debt payments.
That is an irresponsible statement. It can cause panic and shouldn’t come from someone who had chaired a budget committee…” CS John Mbadi said.
