Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has revealed that activist Bob Njagi, who was kidnapped alongside two others in Kitengela, is feared dead. Njagi, Jamil Longton, and Aslam Longton had been missing for 30 days, sparking outrage and demands for answers.

Owino expressed his frustration, saying, “What should we expect after Bob Njagi, Jamil Longton, and Aslam Longton disappeared for 30 days, and the DCI Director is on television claiming he doesn’t know their whereabouts?

“These men were arrested by the police, who are now denying any knowledge of them. If they haven’t been killed, then where are they? Ruto, is the juice worth the squeeze?”

A video showing Njagi being kidnapped by men believed to be police officers in a matatu has been circulating widely on social media, adding to the mounting concerns. Another clip, allegedly depicting Njagi’s final moments, has only deepened public anger.

Several leaders, including Busia Senator Okiyah Omtatah and bloggers like Propesa, have openly condemned the regime, accusing it of being behind the activist’s death. Lawyer Morara Kebaso has called for mass protests to demand justice.Bob Njagi

Despite the growing pressure, President William Ruto recently stated during a media briefing that he was not aware of any kidnappings taking place in his government. However, his response has failed to ease the public’s concerns, with critics continuing to question the government’s role in the matter.

As the country waits for clarity, the resurfaced videos and claims of Bob Njagi’s death have heightened the demand for transparency and accountability from the authorities.Bob Njagi
